General Structure

How Does Disc Vacuum Filter Work

Disc filter is composed of several filtering units together. Its filter unit is mainly made up by plastic filter plate with groove. When filtering, sewage will come in from the outside, and the solid will be intercepted by the groove which is connected to the filter plate. When backwashing, water drains and then the intercepted dirt is washed off. The disk is superimposed closely in the unit.

Working Condition

1, the particle size of solid in the slurry is -100mesh to -400mesh

2, the temperature of slurry is 10-50 centigrade degree, no corrosion

3, the best concentration of slurry is 35%-65%(metal mineral) or 20%-40%(coal or other lightweight material)
