Introducing the Saratoga. The Saratoga has been developed in Australia after many years of trial and error. The boat is now made in the Philippines, utilising the low cost labour force so that the Saratoga is competitively priced in the market.
This is a unique boat that handles the rough conditions with ease. The Saratoga is very stable, both during running and at rest. Due to the tri hull, or triple hull configuration, the Saratoga handles the choppy water extremely well. The ride is soft and dry. The boat was tested with a 15 horse power Yamaha, and in half a meter of chop, the boat exceeded speeds of 25 knots. Even at this speed, the Saratoga does not bang when hitting the waves. At full throttle, this boat can easily make a hard turn with little roll.
Standard mono hulls or V hulls lean into the turn when banking, whereas the Saratoga sits almost flat, reducing propeller cavitation and loss of power.
Both seats are fully sealed and have built in floatation. The floor is fully sealed and a deck tread laid into the glass, adding to safety. Gunwale rubber surrounds the perimeter of the deck and hull join, for protection of the boat when moored up to a pontoon or other boats. The bow has an anchor well, with enough room to store 100 meters of rope plus an anchor and chain.
Other options available include a moulded seat box for storing fishing tackle and life jackets/ safety gear.
