DESCRIPTION:

LUSTER is promoting and implementing 99.99% reliability CATV access network, we had successfully fulfilled some cases in the last four years. TBS2202B is one product of 1550nm family which compose 99.99% reliability network. TBS2202B Optical Switch is developed by Luster for FTTx and optical signal backup. It adopts 1U 19” rack housing and is a good choice for optical signal backup to improve network reliability and service quality in CATV.

At auto mode, when the working signal level is lower than switch threshold or lost, the switch can convert the working signal to the protecting signal automatically to protect signal transmission uninterrupted. When the working signal recovers, the switch converts the signal back. The switch can also occur manually or through remote network management system.

TBS2202B has a CATV signal RF monitor function. When the RF transmitter has optical output but RF malfunction, the optical switch can auto detect and switch links in order to protect transmission signals.

Local interface (RS232) and two Ethernet interfaces (RJ45) of the SNMP network management are available .Ethernet interface supports SNMP and HTTP protocol, it have journal and warning functions. They can fully present the working condition of the product.

The lasted switch power circuit has dual power supply, hot backup, and hot plugging functions. Thanks to its high conversion efficiency and small ripple, it can stand long term overload work. In addition, a small amount of heat producing, low requirements of heat dissipation, and well adjustment of temperature ensure high reliability of the transmission.
