BRAZIL WOOD RESOURCES (BWR) is a Brazilian forestry company, fully engaged in the processing and exports of different wood products - including round wood logs, square wood logs, wood chips, lumber, sawdust, and wood pellets*. These include multiple Brazilian softwood and hardwood species.

As part of an American and Brazilian group of companies, with business operations dated back to 1986, our team is well experienced in the processing and exports of wood products. Our international leadership team has over 50-years of combined experience in this business - including millions of wood tons processed and handled over the years - as well as full proficiency in export operations involving containers and full vessel loads in bulk/break-bulk formats.

We are not brokers. Instead, we are thoroughly involved throughout all stages of our production and export operations, even on the events whereas we outsource and coordinate portions of the supply chain. When doing business with us, our clients can expect our engagement and management of all phases involved - including stumpage, harvesting, trucking, processing, classification, customs, and international freight.

Amongst our current areas of production and/or interest, we are primarily focused on the supply and export of wood in its rawest forms, as well as processed materials – including wood logs, chips, lumber, and pellets* – comprising “bark-on” and “bark-off” feedstock. With attention to the diverse array of end-uses for such products, we are committed to our flexibility in supporting our customers’ unique specifications and needs.

Foreign industries of interest include construction, sawmills, particle boards, pulp & paper, biomass power, furniture, and others. Our wood products are processed and shipped from multiple yard facilities in Brazil. We are particularly focused in wholesale segments of the international wood business (large volumes).

LAWFUL WOOD SELECTION: OUR LUMBER IS CAREFULLY SELECTED AND LEGALLY CERTIFIED TO BE HARVESTED FROM COMMERCIAL REFORESTATION AREAS, AUTHORIZED DEFORESTATION AREAS, SUSTAINABLY MANAGED FORESTS, AND/OR APPROPRIATE RESIDUAL WOOD SOURCES.

PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATE: LEGALLY ENDORSED AND INCLUDED - PENDING REGULATIONS AT COUNTRY OF IMPORT.

CARGO LOAD INSPECTION (WEIGHT & QUALITY): ALL SHIPMENTS MAY BE INDEPENDENTLY INSPECTED AND CERTIFIED BY SGS (OR SIMILAR) FOR TOTAL CARGO WEIGHT & QUALITY.

FREIGHT INSURANCE: MINIMUM OF 110% OF CARGO'S INVOICE VALUE PROVIDED BY WORLD CLASS INSURER (WHEN APPLICABLE ... CIF & CFR TERMS).
