4.Ferro silicon also can be used as alloy elements join agent,which is widely used in low alloy steel,non-ferrous metal,bearing steel,heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon steel.

Among the above purposes, steel making industry and cast industry are the biggest consumer of silicon iron. And among the different steel grade of silicon iron, 75% silicon iron is the most popular right now. In steel making industry, 3-5kg 75% silicon iron is used for production 1 ton of steel.
