Changzhou Geoquin Nano New Materials Co., Ltd. was founded in 2003, and the predecessor is nanometer development division of Jiangsu Zhuoqun Geoquin Nano Rare Earth,Co., Ltd. It is now of independent operation, and has become the first industrialized producer of nano-class rare earth oxide in China.

The project "Preparation and Application Research of Several Kinds of Inorganic Nanometer Materials" for which the company participated in and undertook placed second in "National Science and Technology Progress Award"; "Preparation and Application of Nano Rare Earth Weather Resistance and Abrasion Resistance of Macromolecule Material" awarded third advance prize on science and technology of Changzhou Wujin..Being a national-class and new hi-tech enterprise, as well as a private science & technology enterprise of Jiangsu Province and of Changzhou City, it has obtained ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification and ISO14000 Environmental Management System Certification.

The company owns "Changzhou Engineering Technology Research Center for New Nano Rare Earth Material" approved by Changzhou Science and Technology Bureau, possesses various manufacture technologies of nano rare earth, like the internationally advanced nano & micro emulsion flame burning method, template hydrothermal reaction method, by which an extensive extent of nanometer products with different grain diameters, sizes and shapes can be manufactured. By close cooperation with Nanjing University, Process Engineering Research Institute and Nanometer Science Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other scientific research institutions, the laboratories are jointly built, thus laying a powerful innovative foundation for the company.

We have undertaken two "863" projects; one national key torch plan; six national torch plans; one provincial key problems tackling plan of Jiangsu; one provincial support plan of Jiangsu; two provincial torch plans of Jiangsu, and multiple municipal and district-level science & technology plans. In 2005, it acquired the special approval for "500 Tons Annual Yield of Nano Rare Earth Oxide" from National Development and Reform Commission and this project was listed into national key torch plan in 2006. The "Nano yttrium oxide", "Nano yttrium europium oxide", "Ceria Stabilized Zirconia Powder" and other two products have been awarded "National Key New Products"; "Nano lanthanum oxide", "Nano cerium oxide" and "Nano super high temperature resistant additive" have been awarded " New Hi-Tech Products of Jiangsu Province".

Our company now owns 19 patents, including 5 invention patents. It has good scientific research & experiment conditions, advanced research & development instruments and equipments, housing for scientific research and pilot scale test, and other necessary infrastructure. The test center is equipped with USA PE atomic absorption spectrometer, specific surface area detector, France JY ICP-AES spectrometer, laser particle size analyzer, phosphor powder test system, microelement analyzer and other test instruments. The technology center is equipped with high shear dispersion emulsifying machine, inorganic membrane filtering equipment, multi-functional reaction kettle, high-temperature ceramic sintering furnace, tunnel kiln and other equipments for research & development and pilot scale test.

Main products: super-fine and nano rare earth oxide; nano rubber heat-resistant additive; nano rare earth abrasion-resistant agent; nano composite ceramic material (yttria-stabilized zirconia) and pieces; nano yttrium oxide powder for plasma spray coating, etc.
