3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

-This fabric is of 100% polyester stitch-bonded fabrics made without the use of adhesives. It provides outstanding physical strength, unique elongation, quick wet-out and saturation, and ease of application.

-This fabric is especially suited to reinforcing acrylic elastomeric roof membranes, and has weave patterns better suited to reinforcing thicker applications of asphalt emulsion that provide waterproofing beneath an acrylic top coating.

-It will not absorb moisture or rot and resists damage from soil acids and alkalis and exhibits porosity that allows good interply bond between layers of the membrane as well as good strength and tear resistance.

- This Fabric is used as reinforcement with both hot and cold applied waterproofing membranes. The mat provides tensile strength and control of thickness. When Polyester Fabric is used with hot applied rubberized asphalt as reinforcement, it reduces pin holing over concrete decks

5. INSTALLATION

May be applied by hand or roofing broom.All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dirt, grease, oil, or other contaminants that would interfere with proper adhesion.For all acrylic - complete saturation of 3ounces/sq requires 3 gallons per 100 square feet of AcryShield roof coating. For emulsion and acrylic - complete saturation of 2.75ounces/sq, requires 5 gallons per 100 square feet of asphalt emulsion roof coating.Apply at temperatures above 50ºF.Apply only when weather conditions will permit drying before rain, dew or freezing temperatures.For application details see specific pictures
