Electrical Safety Tester

Most of Tsuruga Electric's test instruments are products that assess electrical safety,

such as automatic insulation voltage-withstand testers, voltage-withstand testers,

and insulation ohmmeters, applicable to a wide usages of testing from

industrial electric equipment and electrical automotive components to consumer-use

Tsuruga Electric's ohmmeters can be divided into direct current and alternating current

types. Direct current ohmmeters are suitable for measuring direct current resistance in

the windings of transformers and motors, contact resistance, and resistance of circuit

board wiring. Alternating current ohmmeters are appropriate for measuring resistance

in batteries as well as contact resistance in places where a large amount of current

cannot be generated. For the battery industry, a single ohmmeter is available that

measures internal resistance in multiple primary batteries or secondary batteries as

well as battery voltage.
