Benzoin (Degassing Agent) for Powder Coating

It is 2-hydroxy-2-phenylacetophenone ,

it is a organic compound and usually used in chemical analysis as well as a disinfector.

When applied in powder coatings, it is an effective degassing agent.

Technical data:

Appearance : white or yellowish powder

Melting range: 132 - 138°C

Solid content: >99%

Boiling point: 194°C

Application:

1.Benzoin can eliminate the air bubble in the powder coating when baking. It can be used in all the powder coating.

2.It can be added together with other raw material, then extruding.

3. Dosage is between 0.3-0.8% based on the total powder.

4.The dosage should not be too large, otherwise it will make yellowing.

Packaging:

PE-lined, multi-ply paper bag, net weight:20KG.

Storage and handling:

Keep in the cool and dry place, far away from fire, washing with water after application.
