A novel functional Feed Additive for Aquaculture -Chitosan

1.Origin : Chitosan is a natural nontoxic biopolymer produced by the deacetylation of chitin,a major component of the shells of crustaceans such as crab,shrimp etc.

2.Character: Off-white, innocuous, flavorless, pearly color schistic or powdery, dissolved at 185°C. It is not water-soluble, but it is soluble in inorganic and organic acid such as dilute acid, acetic acid, and so on.

3.Toxicity: Safe and Non-Toxic,No-residual, Non-Resistance and No side-effects.

4.Biological properties:

- Antimicrobial,Anti-inflammatory,Antivirus, Antioxidant;
