1. INTRODUCTION:

CNEnzymes is an unbranched glucose polymer composed of anhydro-D-glucose units linked by 1,4-b-D-glucoside bonds. These glycosidic bonds can be hydrolysed by cellulolytic enzymes. The native structure of the cellulose is composed of crystalline and less organized amorphous regions.

It's also an enzyme preparation obtained from the submerged fermentation of a high cellulase-producing microbial strain.

CNEnzymes is useful to accelerate time of composting, and also widely used in feed, textile, wastewater treatment and paper making industries.

2. WORKING MECHANISM:

The 1, 4-b-D-glucosidic linkages in cellulose, lichenin and cereal b-D glucans are hydrolyzed to release free glucose units through the successive action of cellulase enzymes.

The less organized amorphous region at the center of the cellulose chain is initially attacked by endoglucanase by random cutting of the b-1,4 glycosidic linkages within the chain thereby producing cello-oligosaccharides. Cellobiohydrolases I and II act on the cello-oligosaccharides from the reducing end and non-reducing end of the cello-oligosaccharides to release cellobiose. B-glycosidase act on the released cellobiose to produce b–D glucose units.

3. PRODUCT PROPERTIES:

CNEnzymes provides maximal benefit at pH 4.8 – 5.2 and at the temperature of 55 – 60celsius.

CNEnzymes is available in liquid preparation as:

CNEnzymes LQ20 (with enzyme activity of 20,000 U/mL)

CNEnzymes is available in solid preparation as:

CNEnzymes PW20 (with enzyme activity of 20,000 U/g)

Unit definition: The amount of enzyme needs to produce 1 mg glucose from carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) in one hour at specified conditions by the DNS method.

5. APPLICATION GUIDE

1) For use as a feed additive, 15-30g CNEnzymes can be added to 1 ton feed.

2) For use in the textile industry, add CNEnzymes at the rate of 2.5-5 g/kg of fabric dissolved as 5:1 water: clothes ratio. The product can also be added at 5-10 g/kg of fabric dissolved as 10:1 water: clothes ratio.

3) For the paper making industry, CNEnzymes is added based on the instructions of the technicians.

6. PACKAGING:

CNEnzymes is packaged in 25 kg/plastic drum and 1000 L/plastic drum for the liquid. The solid preparation is packaged as 20 kg per box or film lined woven bag. Alternative packaging is available upon the request of our valued customers.

7. STORAGE CONDITIONS:

Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight. CNEnzymes maintains its activity for considerably longer time when stored at lower temperatures (below 25celsius. The product should not be frozen.

8. ATTENTION:

CNEnzymes is non-toxic and biodegradable. However, unnecessary contact with the product should be avoided. Long term exposure to protein based products such as CNEnzymes may sensitize certain individuals to the product. Wash hands with warm soapy water after handling. Keep out of reach of children.
