Lanolin Alcohol is the extracted, unsaponifiable fraction of Lanolin. It is a mixture of alcohols comprising cholesterol, agnosterol, lanosterol and their dihydro derivations plus straight and branched chain aliphatic alcohols. It conforms to EP Grade.

Application

It is used in most high grade cosmetic and pharma preparations where colour whiteness and low levels of residual pesticides are required, as its powerful moisturizing, emilsifying and stabilizing charactersitic, which is used extensively in lipsticks, lip gloss, night cream, sports cream, hair cream, baby cream. When used in the pressed powder products, it could improve the smooth property, bounding force and adhesion to the skin. When used in nail polish remover, it could prevent degreasing of the solvent used. Also very effective for providing afeel soft factor in wash off and bath preparations.
