This product is non-ionic celulose ether, the appearance of a white powder,odorless tasteless,soluble in water and mos polar organic solvent,in cold water swelling into clear or slightly turbid colloidal solution. The solution has surface activity,high transparency and stable performance.HPMC has the nature of the thermal gel,the product aqueous solution to form a gel eshalation after heating,dissolves after cooling,different specifications of products has differn gel temperature.The solubility changes with viscosity,the lower the viscodity is,the greater the solubility is.Different specifications of HPMC its naturehas certain difference,the dissove of HPMC in water are not affected by PH value.

3. Dissolution Methods:

1. Hot Water Method:
1) Put hot water at required quantity into a container, heat it up to 70°C, slowly stir water and gradually add HPMC which floats on water surface at the beginning and gradually forms slurry, cool the slurry down by stirring.
2) Put 1/3 or 2/3 of required water into container, heat it up to 70°C, disperse HPMC as step 1) to prepare hot water slurry, then add rest of cold water or hot water into slurry, letting the mixture cool down by stirring.

2. Powder Mixing Method:
Disperse HPMC powder with equivalent or a mass of other powder ingredients completely, and then add water, when HPMC can dissolve, but not coagulating.

3. Organic Solvent Moistening Method
Disperse or moisten HPMC with organic solvents (like ethanol and glycol) in advance, then add water, when HPMC can be dissolved smoothly.

4. Main Application
In food industry, HPMC can be used as emulsifier, binder, thickener and stabilizer, or directly used in food as packaging material.

In addition, HPMC also can be used as thickener, stabilizer, emulsifier, shaping agent, water-retaining agent, film forming agent, etc. in production of petrochemical, coating, building materials, paint remover, agricultural chemicals, oil ink, textile printing and dyeing, ceramics, paper and cosmetics.

Product is packed in fiber can lined with polyethylene film or PVC coated polypropylene woven bags, in net weight of 25kg per can (bag);
It should be kept away from exposure to the sun, rain and moisture in storage and transportation.
