Chexon SIPs Features

Insulated, durable and energy saving

Heat Insulation: Thermal conductivity λ value is as low as 0.1 W/m·K. Internal discontinuity between polymers and filling compound causes heat chain rupture , this structure helps saving energy in summer and keeping warm in winter.

Sound Insulation: Benefited from excellent sound insulation and absorbing performance of expanded polystyrene beads, even the 60mm thickness solid core(SPB) Chexon SIP panel reduces sound volume over 35dB in the atmosphere.

Fire Proof: The panels are incombustible, report suggests level A1 fire resistance.

Water/Moisture Proof: Under test condition of water flow 0.5L/min•m2, wind pressure 250pa, spray Chexon board for 6hrs ×2days, no leakage detected in both sides at all, this material can be used in wet area such as kitchen, toilet and basement.

Easy and quick Construction

Easy to Install: The panels can be cut into any dimensions after calculation, and the construction is pure assembling. About 20 m2 wallboards can be assembled each day/worker by average, it is 3 times more effective compared to traditional brick-mortar build.

Light weigh, high strength

The density of Chexon SIP solid core is 560 Kg/CBM, floatable in water, the anti-pressure strength of an 60mm panel is 3.5MPa. Any position of the panel can be drilled, slotted. Single point hanging strength is over 1000N. The seismic performance of Chexon SIPs sandwich wall panel (FPB) is at a magnitude of 8.5.

Space and Cost Saving

Space Saving: Statistically, 90mm standard Chexon panel can replace traditional 240mm brick wall (brick thickness 200mm, plaster 20mm each side), in the same structure frame, 7m3 more space can be saved for each 100m2.

Raw materials

Chexon solid core panel (SPB) is made of EPS cement compound;

While composite sandwich panel (FPB) uses EPS cement compound as core, calcium silicate boards as faces on both sides.

And reinforced panel (CPB) with acoustic proof materials or steel grid/bar as embedded layer for special requirements.

Market Applications

The scope of application of Chexon Structural Insulated Panel is very wide: cold storage, production workshop, office buildings, residential departments, shopping malls, gyms, poultry sheds, mushroom-growing cellars, the panels can be used as internal/external walls of buildings, roofs and suspended ceilings.

Chexon panels can be installed on frame structure at area with anti-earthquake below 8. Degree, For multi-story structures of more than single floor, it shall take concrete and steel as frame structure, match with Chexon panels as interior wall and exterior structure, to be an safe and insulated building system.
