1. Product Overview

AF-AC1000 is a wireless controller for hotel,mall,restaurant,enterprise,school etc. WLAN

coverage segment.work together with Afoundry ceiling mounted APs,wall mounted APs to establish a centralized management WLAN system.In that such as management,control,configuration etc based APs arecontrolled by AF-AC1000,basically zero configuration to AP,plug and play.

Compared to separate FAT AP, AF-AC1000 based wireless network integrate with more QOS, security, management features, to fully enhance the quality and loading capacity of the entire wireless network. Based on intelligent Network Management Service technology, AF-AC1000 monitor each AP’s RF environment to control power, channel, load balancing based on end users or traffic statistics, massively reduce the wireless signal interference and improve the loading capacity of the whole stable wireless network system.

Centralized management and control

ü To solve 2.4G Co-channel interference problem, AF-AC1000 supports modifying AP channel,output power etc individually by center.

ü Automatically detect intranet APs, make all wireless access point being clear at a glance.

ü AF-AC1000 collects working status of intranet AP regularly and intuitively shows it up in UI for easy checking.

ü Support issue configuration to AP automatically and remote modify AP configuration, etc, AP itself no need any configuration but plug and play, greatly facilitate the system administrator to manage the entire network.

High Security

ü Separately configure each AP’s VLAN, making true communication isolation between different wireless networks, to ensure network security.

ü Support isolated access to different users in same AP to make sure each user's data security.

ü Setting different MAC address authentication rules for different wireless network (SSID), only a certified MAC address is allowed to access corresponding network, no password leak.

ü Support WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, 802.1x encryption type; force end users to authenticate for identity, to protect the wireless communication and wireless network security.

ü Support WEB certificate, IP/MAC bindding, authenticates user’s identity, to prevent the ARP spoofing.

ü Firewall to prevent the attacks from common virus/Dos/DDos, etc.

Flexible deployment

Compare with other wireless controller bypass management over switch, AF-C1000 still supports gateway mode.

Wireless certification

Combined with Afoundry Wi-Fi hotspots authentication system server, AF-AC1000 provides Portal authentication services for centralized placement AP devices, making WEB certification, highly customized certification pages, users management.etc function module; perfectly suitable for wireless access certification requirements in any situation. It also provides advertisement on Portal page, service options and information dissemination and other customized contents, making business expansion and achieving IP network operation.
