Polymerized Ferric Sulphate PFS :

PFS is an inorganic macromolecule product that is highly efficient and has a steady chemical characteristic that dissolves with water. It is widely applied in water purification, industrial water treatment and wastewater treatment.

In the process of water treatment, PFS hydrolyzes a large amount of masculine nucleus ions, counteracting the charges in the face of colloid grains and pulls the colloid grains strongly, causing the colloid grains to become floccules and then deposits it, so that the water becomes purified.

The characteristic of the product are:

1. It has an excellent ability of concreting, and depositing in high speeds of just 5-10 minutes or faster, depending on if there are any assisting equipments.

2. It has an excellent ability of purifying water, resulting in high water quality after the water treatment is finished. PFS with 10 times excessiveness allows no transfer of Fe3+ assuring the water will not turn yellow.

3. It can be stored for a long time after being dissolved and with no deposition, no changing of the quality and without jamming the tube either.

4. PFS can discolor, remove smell, dehydrate, remove oil, sterilize, remove heavy metal, radioelement and carcinogen easily, with

the strong ability of removing COO,BOD.

5. PFS is non-toxic and safe.

6. Apply the PH value range from 4-11. The best PH value is 6-9. The results are little variety of PH value after purification, and reduction of the hardness in water.

7. PFS has a special function of purifying polluted water that have alga and/or low temperatures, and low water turbidness.

8. PFS does little rotting to the equipment and shapes the membrane, which protects the tube further or worse rotting.

9. Compared to the traditional PFS, there is no NO2- left. Both physical and chemical characteristics are excellent and is the appropriate product to use.

10. Usage:

A) Before using, dissolve the product in running water in the proportion of 10-30% to have red brown solution, then dilute it to dosing solution required for coagulation, the concentration of dosing solution is 2 - 5% for drinking water treatment, and 5-10% for waste water treatment.

B) Optimum dosage: Viewing the different property of raw water, it can be determined by the experiment. For the waterworks, you may refer the dosage of other flocculant operated before. Under the same conditions, its dosage is almost equal to the poly aluminum chloride, 1/3 - 1/4 of the solid alum.
