COJSIL-GM Glass & Metal Silicone Sealant is a one-part, neutral cure silicone sealant for use in most common

weatherproofing applications on a wide variety of materials. After application, the sealant reacts with atmospheric

moisture to produce a low-modulus,long life, formed-in-place silicone rubber building joint and glazing sealant.

It seals assemblies of metals, glass, concrete, coated surfaces, plastics, wood, and other common building

materials. Virtually odourless in application with a slow skinning time making it ideal for long structural glazing, building joints runs in larger applications.

Application

1. Adheres to: most aluminum, stainless steel, masonry, brick, concrete, glass and metal

2. Excellent resistance to weather, UV, ozone, water

3. Excellent adhesion to most common building material;

4. suitable for use on most building, construction and glazing joints.

Characteristics

• Silicone Durability - Cured silicone provides excellent resistance to natural weathering, humidity and high & low

temperatures with negligible change in elasticity.

• Typical uses - Steel sheds, metal roofs, trailers, glass, gutters and other metal surfaces.

• Stable Consistency - Supplied as a lightweight paste the consistency of which remains relatively unchanged

over a wide temperature range. The paste can be easily gunned and tooled under hot and cold conditions.

• Low Sag or Slump – Useful for application to horizontal, vertical or overhead surfaces.

Instruction
Clean and dry surface, remove any stains and impurities with solvents, then, cut the nozzle to a desired opening

angle and apply sealant with caulk gun, and press it out at 45 degrees. Normally cure on surface in 15 minutes,

and solidified in 7 days that come up to its adhesive intensity.

Caution
1.When skin or eye contact occurs, immediately flush with water for 15 minutes, get medical attention, if irritation

persists. Fully cured sealant is not hazardous.
2.Used in the well-ventilated environment.
3.Keep out of reach of children.

Limitations 1. Not recommended for construction bonding.
2. Not suitable for frost-laden or wet surfaces.
3..Not recommended for oil contained or blended surfaces.
4. Not suitable for confined joint(the sealant need atmospheric moisture for cure)
5. Not suitable to use when the temperature of the materials surface is lower than 4°C or higher than 40°C .
